Vision + Voice is a personal and transformative deep dive into who you are as an artist. It helps you uncover what supports your fullest, most authentic expression—so you can bring your vision forward and clearly connect with your unique voice. 

In collaboration with artist and coach Kerry Schroeder, this program addresses many of the core challenges artists face. Our goal is to inspire and empower you to create with passion and conviction—while trusting yourself in the process. 

Together, Kerry and I bring years of experience in both art-making and coaching artists. By combining our knowledge and unique perspectives, Vision + Voice offers you the tools to articulate your artistic vision and strengthen the structure that supports it, while navigating the emotional demands that art-making often requires.

REFLECTIVE . INSIGHTFUL . POWERFUL

We’ll explore and unpack aspects of the creative process rarely covered in traditional art education: working with intuition and intention, accessing your visual language and voice, understanding yourself in relationship to art-making, meeting the creative process with awareness and mindfulness, and much more. 

Through this work, you’ll unlock deeper creative expression—moving past creative blocks, navigating challenges, and making your most personal and authentic art.

Vision + Voice is an 8-week online program featuring pre-recorded video tutorials you can revisit at your own pace, live coaching sessions for interactive learning and support, and experiential exercises and assignments to expand your artistic vision and identify hidden patterns holding you back.

Each week’s live session is a chance to ask questions, gain concrete methods for developing creative resilience, and deepen your understanding of your unique artistic voice.

Throughout the program, you’ll be supported by expert guidance and a like-minded community. We've curated our best practices to provide you with real tools and strategies for strengthening your art practice from the inside out.

I’m Cheryl Taves and I’m a working artist and creativity coach. I love supporting artists, helping them engage more deeply with their art-making and creative process. It’s been a passion of mine to share this work with with a broader audience, allowing it to grow and build into a community of like-minded creatives, sharing, supporting and making their art.
